This website is for the Parent-Teacher Organization at Bright Beginnings Learning Center in Piscataway, NJ. Our school serves students ages 3-11 with IEPs in Middlesex County, Somerset County, and other surrounding NJ counties.
Our Mission
The mission of the Bright Beginnings Learning Center Parent-Teacher Organization consists of the following tenets:
- To foster a safe, supportive school-based community with emphasis on providing additional caregiver supports such as peer support, sibling peer support, and connecting to community-based resources as needed.
- Support positive learning experiences for the special needs student community through sponsored in-person events and equipment purchases.
- Encourage family involvement through targeted engagements.
- Expand on efforts to make our school an inclusive and culturally-respectful community for our students, their families, friends, and caregivers.
What is the PTO?
Established in 2002, the BBLC PTO works to provide the student population with resources and experiences above and beyond what is provided by the Educational Services Commission of NJ and individual school districts.
How can I help?
We rely on parents like you to accomplish these goals for our kids. We understand how busy life is, especially with one or more children with special needs in our families.
A commitment as little as one hour per month or less is enough to make a BIG difference for our students!
